The Production Manager is a key player in delivering technical elements for live, hybrid, and virtual events. They collaborate with the creative team to provide innovative, technical solutions from concept to execution, ensuring projects meet client briefs and budgets. The role involves managing technical crews and suppliers on-site and overseeing the entire production process.
Responsibilities
- Manage all technical production elements of events from start to finish, focusing on innovative solutions.
- Create and manage detailed pre-production schedules and coordinate with suppliers to meet deadlines.
- Conduct site inspections, guide venue selection, and monitor construction of set items for smooth operations.
- Oversee on-site technical elements, ensuring safety and flawless event delivery.
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure favorable rates and added value for clients.
- Manage project budgets, delivering to financial targets and enhancing margins.
- Prepare written proposals, attend client meetings, and develop client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and maintain knowledge of regulations.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure effective client project delivery and stay updated on industry innovations.
Required Skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
- Strong technical knowledge across production disciplines and new product offerings.
- Experience in budget control and management of production costs.
- Skilled in negotiating and maintaining a broad network of suppliers.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to delegate effectively.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of four years of technical experience in theatre, live events, or a related industry.
- Proven experience in managing exhibition stands, conferences, and various events.
- International work experience.
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is desirable.
