Overview
EMEA Conference & Event Planner. We are seeking an experienced EMEA Conference & Event Planner to become a key member of our client\\\’s Marketing & Events Team, responsible for supporting all third-party conferences and hosted events for our Client\\\’s Global Wealth and Institutional teams taking place in EMEA. While you will be employed by Jack Morton, you will be embedded at the client\\\’s offices, working closely with their internal team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all third-party conferences within the Global Wealth and Institutional Channels in EMEA, estimated 30 for 2026
- Act as main point of contact for conference host and be diligent of all deadlines for presentations, booths, 1:1 meeting rooms and speaker logistics
- Manage conference registration for all client conference attendees and speakers
- Collaborate with client attendees to effectively communicate all conference details and provide status updates
- Plan and oversee all dine around dinners and hosted events at conferences
- Source and manage hotel rooming blocks for complex events and manage reservations changes/updates throughout planning production
- Travel to conferences for additional onsite support when necessary
- Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of client-hosted events, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver events that embody the highest standards of excellence
- Vendor relationships for merchandise
- Work closely with the EMEA Channel Marketer
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor\\\’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, event planning/hospitality, or a related field
- 3-5 plus years of experience in corporate event planning, preferably within financial services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom Meeting, Cvent
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent budgeting skills, ability to manage, monitor and reconcile budget effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented with commitment to ensuring accuracy and high-quality results
- Accountable, results-driven, and able to take ownership of responsibilities
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills by anticipating potential challenges, quickly developing creative solutions, and ensuring seamless execution of events under changing conditions
