Job Description: Make a difference by becoming part of the No. 1 protein snack manufacturer worldwide as Commercial Finance Manager at Jack Link's EMEA. Our spacious and modern HQ is located in the vibrant Amsterdam, and includes a highly international team, with more than 25 different nationalities. Our EMEA team is committed to continuing its impressive EMEA expansion, one bite at a time, and becoming the regional leader in branded protein snacks. This position is based in Richmond and you will be reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance EMEA.
This position is an integral member of the Commercial Finance team. Responsibilities include:
- Business partner to Sales and Marketing teams providing analysis and transparency to drive better commercial decisions and ensuring speed to market, thereby, driving efficiency of spend and optimizing profitability.
- Support Sales ahead of annual retail negotiations through analysis, preparation, and joint meetings with Key Account Managers.
- Support marketing in the preparation of business cases for product launches, investments, and strategic initiatives; support post launch evaluations.
- Manage timely input into S&OP.
- Lead commercial performance reviews for relevant markets and brands, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Periodic update of financial reports for management, sales department, and commercial finance team, and support the financial processes (periodic results, forecast and budget).
- Support automation of reporting and planning through BI tools and ERP integrations.
- Contribute to yearly closing and reporting and preparation of statutory audits.
- Monitor trade spend and financial control on rebate agreements; manage trade accruals in close collaboration with Key Account Managers.
Qualifications:
- UK Citizenship and/or a valid work permit is required.
- University Degree in Finance / Business Administration.
- At least 5 to 8 years of experience in Finance or FP&A with an FMCG company.
- Analytical thinking with pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Good understanding of P&L, and Top Line / Bottom line impact of business decisions.
- High level of data literacy; comfortable working with large data sets and transforming insights into actions, financial modelling.
- Proficiency in Excel, SAP (or Oracle), and BI tools (Power BI or equivalent).
- Experience with planning tools such as Pigment is a plus.
- Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, result oriented.
- Fluent in English; Dutch will be an advantage.
