In EMEA, the brand focuses on growing the protein snacks category, with emphasis on Jack Link's (Beef Jerky, Biltong), Peperami, BiFi and Minuets, and expanding into alternative protein snacks. Jack Link's EMEA operates through a network of regional offices and production sites across Europe (Germany, Netherlands and United Kingdom). We are looking for a Senior Brand Manager who can own and drive the Jack Link's brand strategy, activation, and performance to deliver sustainable brand and commercial growth. You will be part of an international team and play a pivotal role in driving brand performance across EMEA markets. This position can be based in either our Jack Link's EMEA office at Richmond (United Kingdom) or Amsterdam (Netherlands).
Responsibilities
- Implement brand strategy and brand positioning and evaluate effectiveness.
- Grow the brand while educating on the benefits of the category.
- Set up activations/engagement plans for the Jack Link's brand to achieve brand and commercial goals.
- Develop, implement and analyze annual brand plan & communication strategies (ATL & BTL campaigns).
- Co-develop, implement and analyze NPD launches, working cross-functionally with R&D and internal operations teams.
- Work closely with Category Management, Shopper and Sales teams to deliver consumer-centric propositions and through-the-line communications.
- Be a key member of the cross-functional Country Business Team (CBT) and Marketing & Sales Team responsible for delivery of commercial targets.
- Support Shopper Marketing & Sales teams with market, brand and product information as needed.
- Analyze market and consumer information to provide clear recommendations to fuel future brand growth (awareness, relevance, meaning, portfolio, pricing, and communications).
- Manage marketing budgets within guidelines; benchmark and understand competitor and market best practices.
Qualifications
- EU Citizenship and/or valid work permit is required. Jack Link's EMEA does not offer relocation. All applications must be submitted in English, as it is the company's corporate language.
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in BA, Marketing or a similar field.
- More than 5 years of FMCG Marketing experience with a focus on brand management including communications, activation, portfolio management & innovation development and launches.
- Project management and cross-functional teamwork.
- Proven experience in ATL and BTL communication development & implementation, including digital and social campaigns.
- Proven track record in launching and executing NPD in market, delivering sales growth and incremental penetration.
- Market knowledge in FMCG in the UK and/or NL, ideally with experience in establishing new brands/new categories.
- Strong planning and prioritisation, business insights and know-how.
- Strong communication skills; able to identify business drivers and translate into action.
- Project management and ability to navigate complexity; strategic thinker, strong executor and creative problem-solver.
- Customer/consumer focus and action orientation; highly self-motivated, resilient and agile.
- Experience in the UK (desirable) and/or NL markets; fluency in English; other EU languages are an advantage.
