As part of the Link Snacks global enterprise, our team across EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) is focused on driving the growth of the real meat protein snack category with a strong emphasis on our brands: Jack Link’s (Beef Jerky, Biltong), Peperami, BiFi and Minuets. We operate through a network of regional offices and production sites across Europe in Germany, Netherlands and United Kingdom.
Make a difference by becoming part of the No. 1 protein snack manufacturer worldwide as Commercial Finance Manager at Jack Link’s EMEA. This position is based in Amsterdam and you will be reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance EMEA.
- Commercial Business Partnering: Business Partner to Regional Sales and Marketing teams to analyze performance and profitability; provide insights to support management decisions; challenge assumptions and provide insights that drive growth and margin improvement. Support Sales ahead of annual retail negotiations through analysis, preparation, and joint meetings with Key Account Managers. Support marketing in the preparation of business cases for product launches, investments, and strategic initiatives; support post-launch evaluations. Support other commercial business cases for CAPEX projects and monitor financial hygiene of project till completion.
- Financial Planning, Forecasting & Analysis: Manage timely input into S&OP. Lead commercial performance reviews for relevant markets and brands, highlighting risks and opportunities. Periodic update of financial reports for management, sales department, and commercial finance team, and support the financial processes (periodic results, forecast and budget).
- Digital Finance & Process Improvement: Support automation of reporting and planning through BI tools and ERP integrations.
- Governance & Controls: Contribute to yearly closing and reporting and preparation of statutory audits. Monitor trade spend and financial control on rebate agreements; manage trade accruals in close collaboration with Key Account Managers; manage financial implications within ERP in collaboration with the Financial Accounting Team.
Qualifications: UK Citizenship and/or a valid work permit is required. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position. All applications must be submitted in English, as it is the company’s corporate language. University Degree in Finance / Business Administration. At least 5 to 8 years of experience in Finance or FP&A with an FMCG company. Analytical thinking with pragmatic approach to problem solving. Good understanding of P&L, and Top Line / Bottom line impact of business decisions. High level of data literacy; comfortable working with large data sets and transforming insights into actions, financial modelling. Proficiency in Excel, SAP (or Oracle), and BI tools (Power BI or equivalent such as Tableau). Experience with planning tools such as Pigment is a plus. Comfortable in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment. Self‑motivated, result oriented. Fluent in English and Dutch will be an advantage.
