JACK & JONES, the brand known for great denim, effortless style and good vibes, is opening a brand-new store in Bluewater in July 2026 and we're looking for an inspiring Deputy Manager to lead the journey from day one.
We are looking for an experienced and driven Deputy Manager to support and assist the Store Manager in launching our new store in Bluewater.
This is a unique opportunity to build a store team from the ground up, create strong commercial culture, and establish the brand as a key destination within one of the UK's leading shopping centres.

Key Responsibilities as Assistant Store Manager, you will
- Help and support with all aspects of the store opening, including recruitment, onboarding, and training of the team
- Support with store set‑up, visual merchandising, and floor layout implementation
- The Assistant Store Manager will play a key role during the set‑up phase and should be flexible to work extended hours where needed to deliver a successful opening.
- Commercial Leadership
- Support and assist the Store Manager by working in partnership with the Store Manager and the wider management team to deliver outstanding results.
- Analyse sales performance daily and make strong commercial decisions to maximise results.
- Ensure smooth daily operations, leading the store confidently in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Team Leadership & Culture
- Be a role model to the team, driving great energy and atmosphere on the shop floor.
- Support the growth and development of your team to deliver on KPIs, product knowledge, service, visual merchandising, and operations.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching for your store team.
- Champion JACK & JONES values and help create an inclusive, positive culture for colleagues and customers.
