Arva AI is a YC S24 London startup building AI agents that automate financial crime compliance for banks and fintechs. Founded by ex-Google and Revolut experts, the team scales AML, KYB, and KYC operations by automating up to 92% of manual reviews for global financial institutions processing millions of monthly checks.

As the first Customer Success hire, you will own the end-to-end post-sale relationship with financial institution clients, ensuring maximum value from Arva’s AI platform. You’ll bridge the gap between compliance teams and product engineering, driving retention and expansion while building the company’s customer success function from the ground up in a high-growth environment.

Location: London, UK

Why this role is remarkable:

  • Own the Customer Success function as the first hire, working directly with founders to build the department's strategy, processes, and culture from scratch.
  • Join a high-traction YC S24 startup already processing over 1 million reviews monthly and partnering with industry giants like Fiserv for global financial crime prevention.
  • Work in a high-stakes, mission-driven environment at the intersection of AI and fintech, directly impacting how global financial institutions detect and prevent financial crime.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the end-to-end customer journey from onboarding to renewal, ensuring financial institutions achieve measurable outcomes and fast time-to-value with AI agents.
  • Synthesize technical and operational feedback from senior compliance stakeholders to directly inform the product roadmap and engineering priorities.
  • Identify and execute on expansion and upsell opportunities by building trusted, long-term relationships with compliance directors and Chief Compliance Officers.

The ideal candidate:

  • Possesses 2-3 years of top-tier consulting experience or 1-2 years in B2B SaaS Customer Success, preferably within the fintech, regtech, or compliance domains.
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills and commercial acumen, with the ability to navigate complex, regulated environments and build trust with senior institutional stakeholders.
  • Exhibits a proactive "operator" mindset with high ownership, thriving in fast-moving startup environments where they can act decisively with imperfect information.
