As a Staff Engineer in the Growth squad, you will architect business-critical systems for payments, checkout, and global order management. You'll solve complex logistics and technical challenges at scale, building the backend foundation for a global circular fashion economy.

What You Will Do:
- Lead the architectural direction for the Growth squad, owning the end-to-end ecommerce journey from discovery through to complex global checkout flows.

- Act as a technical force multiplier, leveraging AI to optimise supply chain tooling and mentoring senior engineers in a high-performance environment.
The ideal candidate:
- Extensive experience as a Staff or Lead Engineer at tier-1 consumer scaleups like Monzo, Deliveroo, Depop, or similar high-growth B2C environments.
- Proven track record of building and scaling complex backend systems including payments, checkout, or high-throughput data pipelines using Node.js/TypeScript.
- Product-obsessed mindset with the ability to articulate complex architectural trade-offs and connect deep engineering decisions to tangible business outcomes.
