What You Will Do:
- Design and implement maintainable, scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using a modern functional Scala stack and the Typelevel ecosystem (http4s, Cats Effect, FS2).
- Architect the integration layer between third‑party customer support tools and the proprietary DigitalGenius AI platform to ensure seamless, real‑time agentic interactions.
- Collaborate directly with product stakeholders to build new features for the no‑code platform, analytics engines, and internal data management functionality.
The ideal candidate:
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience with Scala and a strong command of functional programming principles and the Typelevel library ecosystem.
- You possess hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL, AWS, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools like Terraform to manage and deploy microservices‑based distributed systems.
- You are a pragmatic engineer who reasons about software from first principles and takes genuine end‑to‑end ownership of the systems and features you deliver.
