Joinkyber.com is a London-based, pre-seed startup backed by Entrepreneur First building an AI orchestration layer to replace manual coordination systems in airport ground operations.
Job Description
You will join a high-impact team of three to build Maestro, an intelligent system orchestrating real-time airport resource allocation. As a backend-heavy Fullstack Engineer, you will own the orchestration engine and data layer, replacing outdated manual processes with event-driven architecture to ensure flights depart on time at major international airports.
Location
London, UK
Why this role is remarkable
- Solve critical infrastructure problems by replacing manual walkie-talkies and spreadsheets with real-time AI orchestration in actual airports.
- Work directly with founders Arthur (ex-Formula 1 and Lufthansa) and Guillermo at a pre-seed startup backed by Entrepreneur First.
- High-ownership IC role where you define the architectural decisions for a platform handling real-world physical operations and resource conflict detection.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement the core orchestration engine and real-time data layer using Python, TypeScript, and state machines.
- Build and maintain the APIs that connect complex airport systems to the Maestro platform for seamless resource allocation.
- Architect event-driven systems that handle real-time task assignment and conflict detection for ground operations staff and equipment.
The ideal candidate
- 3+ years of professional engineering experience building and maintaining production-grade backend systems with Python and TypeScript.
- Proven experience working in seed-stage startups, demonstrating the ability to build robust infrastructure and products under high ambiguity.
- Deep understanding of systems design, specifically real-time, event-driven, and stateful architectures beyond standard CRUD applications.
