As the first dedicated design hire, you will own the end-to-end experience for a pre-launch platform transforming access to financial guidance. You’ll set the craft bar across the existing Workplace offering and build a regulated Advice product from scratch, scaling expert-led services to thousands of users through elite product design.
Why this role is remarkable:

- Foundational impact: Join as the first design hire in a small, senior team where you define the design culture, principles, and system from day zero.
- Mission-driven innovation: Leverage AI-native tooling to provide high-quality financial advice to people historically locked out of traditional wealth management services.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the product design direction and quality bar across all web and core customer journeys, ensuring high-fidelity execution.
- Define and prototype the v1 'Advice as a Product' experience, turning complex regulatory requirements into a simple, trustworthy user interface.
- Partner directly with founders and engineering to ship at high velocity while managing and directing existing external freelance design support.
The ideal candidate:
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality, user-centered products in 0→1 environments or early-stage startups.
- Deep product mindset with the ability to connect design decisions to business outcomes and navigate high-ambiguity problem spaces.
- Experience in trust-sensitive domains like fintech or health, with a high degree of 'taste' and excitement for AI-native workflows.
