Valyu is building the foundational search infrastructure for the next decade of AI agents, creating a specialized knowledge layer designed for deep research and reasoning. Based in London, Valyu combines first-principles research with high-scale engineering to transform how LLMs access and process complex information across thousands of sources.

Valyu is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Full Stack Engineer to build the agentic knowledge layer for AI. You will own product surfaces end-to-end, from customer dashboards to internal tools, using a modern stack including Next.js and Supabase. You’ll integrate LLM-driven workflows and create AI-native interfaces that define how agents interact with structured knowledge.

Location: London, UK

Why this role is remarkable:

  • Build the core primitive for the agentic era, creating the specialized search infrastructure that high-performance AI systems require to function.
  • Join a high-velocity team where "cracked" engineers are the standard, working at the intersection of first-principles ML research and hard software engineering.
  • Gain significant ownership and equity in a London-based startup tackling one of the most foundational questions in the future of software development.

What You Will Do:

  • Ship end-to-end product surfaces using Next.js, Supabase, and Vercel, maintaining a high bar for design quality and user experience.
  • Build and iterate on AI-native interfaces and infrastructure for tool calls, agent runtimes, and deep research workflows.
  • Work directly with customers in forward-deployed settings to translate complex technical needs into magical, functional product features.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has 1-3 years of experience shipping real-world products with a strong mastery of TypeScript, React, and full-stack data modeling.
  • Demonstrates exceptional product instinct and design taste, caring deeply about the "feel" and UX of the tools they build.
  • Is relentlessly resourceful and proficient with AI engineering tools like Claude Code to multiply output and master new skills rapidly.
