Join Asymmetric Security as a Founding Engineer to scale a production platform automating cyberattack investigations. You'll work across the stack—from FastAPI backends and React frontends to GCP infrastructure—ensuring the system is resilient and performant.   • Develop and deploy agentic AI systems and evaluation frameworks to measure and improve AI performance against real-world cyber incidents and security challenges.
  • Own platform reliability and observability end‑to‑end, including CI/CD pipelines, SLO design, and incident response practices to maintain high production availability.

The ideal candidate:

  • Strong background in Python (FastAPI/async) and modern frontend (React/TypeScript), with experience shipping and operating production-grade, data-intensive software.
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS), containerization (Docker/Terraform), and managing distributed data workloads using tools like Parquet, DuckDB, or Redis.
  • Proven ability to manage production‑scale systems, with a deep understanding of observability, monitoring, and building for long-term reliability under the pressure of real‑world incidents.
