As a Junior Controls & Commissioning Engineer, you will bridge the gap between hardware assembly and operational reality. You'll own the critical final step of connecting sensors, actuators, and power systems to bring modular synthetic fuel plants to life, ensuring Rivan’s decarbonisation technology scales 1000x over the next two years.

What you will do:
- Select, install, and debug industrial sensors and actuators for DAC, Electrolyser, and Sabatier Reactor pilot systems.
- Integrate electrical control cabinets and execute comprehensive FAT/SAT, I/O loop checks, and field start-up support.
- Design and build custom evaluation test rigs to accelerate the hardware development cycle and remove engineering bottlenecks.
The ideal candidate:
- Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols including Modbus (RTU/TCP), CAN bus, and RS-485 networking.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and performing panel wiring, crimping, and field terminations for 4–20 mA signals.
- Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and a desire to work with Python, Linux fundamentals, and IEC 61131-3 programming languages.
