As the first dedicated Head of Product at Caura.com, you will own the end-to-end product execution, from roadmap prioritisation to shipping features across regulated domains like fintech and insurtech. Working directly with the CEO and a product designer, you will build the product function from scratch and define how product works at this high‑growth startup.

Location: London, UK

Why this role is remarkable:

  • Take full ownership of the product function as the first dedicated hire at a profitable startup with the autonomy to build processes from day one.
  • Collaborate directly with a product‑focused CEO and a talented team serving major enterprise clients like esure and Lex Autolease in a massive, fragmented market.
  • Influence a unique intersection of fintech and mobility, including an active AI and agentic roadmap designed to automate complex vehicle administration for millions of users.

What You Will Do:

  • Define and execute the product roadmap, making critical trade‑offs and prioritising features that simplify complex regulated tasks like insurance, taxes, and payments.
  • Lead hands‑on product delivery by writing detailed specs and collaborating closely with engineering and design to ship high‑quality, intuitive consumer experiences.
  • Establish the product management lifecycle and culture within the organization, transitioning the company from founder‑led product to a structured, scalable function.

The ideal candidate:

  • 7+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of shipping successful consumer‑facing products in fintech, insurtech, or other regulated spaces.
  • Previous experience as an early product hire in a fast‑moving startup environment, demonstrating the ability to build and execute effectively without existing scaffolding.
