As the founding IT hire at a rapidly scaling AI startup, you will build our internal operations from the ground up. You'll manage device deployment, ensure ironclad security compliance for ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and own customer SSO integrations. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on builder wanting end-to-end ownership.

What you will do:

  • Lead technical compliance efforts for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2, maintaining rigorous information security standards and responding to enterprise security questionnaires.
  • Own the customer onboarding experience by configuring enterprise SSO (SAML/OIDC) and collaborating with engineering to automate access management.

The ideal candidate:

  • 2–5 years of hands-on corporate IT experience focusing on user administration, MDM tools like Jamf, and Google Workspace.
  • Proven ability to build repeatable systems and processes that ensure security policies are followed consistently without manual intervention.
  • Proactive communicator comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment alongside world-class researchers from top-tier institutions like Cambridge and Imperial.
