Job Description
You will bridge the gap between applied research and production, extending the frontier of LLMs and simulations within the public sector. Leading efforts to benchmark models on complex policy problems, you will own the end-to-end ML layer, from data pipelines to inference infrastructure, creating tools that reshape how governments solve societal challenges.

Responsibilities
- Prototype and productionize specialized research agents designed for complex social and economic policy analysis.
- Build and maintain the full AI/ML stack, including data pipelines, model fine-tuning, monitoring, and feedback loops.
- Collaborate directly with users and customers to ensure ML systems are grounded in practical workflows rather than theoretical assumptions.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience building production ML systems at a startup or research lab, with expertise in modern Python tooling.
- Proven track record of taking research ideas from initial concept to a working, reliable system that users can depend on.
- Deep interest in the public sector, ideally with exposure to econometrics, causal inference, or government consulting environments.
