Company Description
YC S23-backed enterprise browser automation startup serving decacorns and public insurance firms
Location

Job Description
You will build the core infrastructure for an on-device browser agent that automates mission‑critical workflows without APIs. Working across the full stack, you will develop a robust automation engine and secure environment used by global enterprises for identity management and security enforcement, defending against state‑sponsored threats in real time.
Why this role is remarkable
- Work at the frontier of "browser‑using agents" in a high‑stakes enterprise environment where your code secures mission‑critical corporate bank accounts and SaaS tools.
- Join an elite engineering culture of Cambridge and Imperial alumni with backgrounds at TikTok, operating as a high‑caliber team of four with zero bureaucracy.
- Exceptional growth potential with founding‑team equity and a pathway to relocate to the San Francisco office with full US visa sponsorship if desired.
What You Will Do
- Scale and improve the core browser automation engine to handle complex web‑based tasks and autonomous user provisioning.
- Develop and secure the on‑device desktop environment using Electron to ensure reliable performance across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
- Partner directly with customers at decacorn scale‑ups to diagnose challenges, design features, and ship production solutions within single‑week cycles.
The Ideal Candidate
- At least 1 year of production software experience with a proven ability to ship high‑quality features from concept to production independently.
- Deep technical curiosity and strong systems‑thinking skills required to debug messy web automations and end‑to‑end encrypted environments.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Postgres, with a strong desire to master Electron, browser extensions, and tools like Puppeteer or Selenium.
