What you'll do
- Design and implement backend services to support our applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Mentor junior engineers and assist in their professional development.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend engineering.
- Proficiency in Python or another significant backend programming language.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, especially AWS services like SQS and S3.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, agile environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
