Company Description: Stairpay - Fuel Ventures backed proptech OS for shared ownership.
As the first growth hire, you will build Stairpay’s B2C engine from scratch, moving residents from discovery to "aha" moments. You'll sit at the intersection of product, data, and marketing, running experiments to optimize onboarding, activation, and retention. This is a hands-on role defining the growth DNA of a fast-scaling property platform.
Location: London, UK
Why this role is remarkable:
- Significant ownership with 0.5% equity in a pre-seed startup backed by Fuel Ventures, solving the UK’s housing affordability crisis.
- Work directly with a founder who was previously Growth Lead at a YC-backed startup, ensuring a high-bar, growth-first culture.
- Direct impact on helping thousands of residents transition from renting to homeownership through innovative financial tools and real-time valuations.
What you will do:
- Own the end-to-end B2C funnel, designing and shipping experiments across onboarding flows, referral loops, and lifecycle communications.
- Partner with the Head of Product and Tech Lead to implement in-product nudges and improve how financial data is presented to users.
- Analyze cohort behavior and funnel drop-offs to turn data-driven insights into shipped product features that drive monthly active usage.
The ideal candidate:
- 2-5 years of hands-on product growth experience at a tech startup, ideally as an early hire who built growth engines from zero.
- Proven track record of moving core business metrics through a mix of product experimentation, data analysis, and compelling copywriting.
- Highly autonomous operator who leverages AI tools to multiply output and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, 3-day-in-office London environment.
