What we’re building? The last major technological shift - the rise of the consumer internet - created LinkedIn as the networked winner in recruitment. The next great shift is here. AI is transforming how people and companies connect and it will redefine the global labor market. At Jack & Jill, we are building the company that leads this transformation. We’re 9 months old, have released two agentic products (Jack and Jill), have built a brilliant team of Europe’s best engineers, operators and ex-founders, are run rating over £1m revenue and have raised $20M, led by tier-1 VC Creandum. In the coming years, every knowledge worker will have an AI agent managing their career, and every company will have an AI agent helping them hire. By connecting those agents, we’re building a new infrastructure for the future of the labor market itself.
Meet Jack & Jill. We are not putting a thin AI layer on broken processes. We are rebuilding from first principles with two dedicated agents who work for their users: Jack, for candidates: An always-on career co-pilot. Jack starts with a deep conversation to understand who you are and what you really want. He provides market insights, coaching, and companionship. Jill, for companies: A true AI talent partner. Jill goes far beyond a job description to deeply understand your company, your culture, and the real context behind a role. She sources candidates, reviews inbound applicants, conducts first-pass screening calls, and acts as a strategic thought partner. Jack & Jill will not just disrupt the existing recruitment software market, but also the 10x bigger recruitment services market.
We’re moving at breakneck speed. We’re 9 months old, and already built two remarkable products, have 100,000+ candidates using Jack, hundreds of paying customers signed up to Jill and built a spectacular early team. The technology is ready and 10x better than the status quo – we need to build and execute at a relentless speed to build on this early momentum and bring it to the world as fast as we can.
What is the role and who are we looking for? We’re hiring a Founding GTM Operator to build Jill’s new business engine from first principles. You’ll report to the B2B GTM Lead. We’re a small team, so you’ll sit right in the flow between product, engineering, and customers building, shipping, and learning fast together. Your mission is simple: find step-change ways to grow revenue. This is a high ownership, high consequence role. If you want clear lanes, a neat roadmap, and someone telling you what to do each day, you won’t like it here. If you want the opposite, this is as good as it gets: you’ll have real autonomy, real access, and a direct line between what you do this week and whether revenue moves next week.
This is an end-to-end role. You’ll help shape the new business experience from first touch through onboarding, with a clear definition of first value: a role goes live in Jill. You’ll start by doing things manually to learn fast. Then you’ll build v1 playbooks, tooling, and loops that scale. This is a founding role — the work will change as we learn and scale. You’ll pick up the highest-leverage problem, ship quickly, and systemise what works. Examples include:
- Bottleneck hunting: diagnose where revenue is getting stuck and prioritise ruthlessly
- TOFU + outbound: messaging, channel tests, and the activity that creates pipeline
- Mid-funnel + activation: getting customers to ‘role live in Jill’ quickly and reliably
- PLG: product-led experiments and loops that compound over time
- Systems: dashboards, workflows, and operating rhythm that make this repeatable
We work 5 days a week in-person at our London office in Shoreditch Exchange.
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- Elite cognitive drive. You’re sharp, structured, and can think clearly under ambiguity. You have strong judgement and communicate with precision.
- Real commercial experience. You’ve been close to revenue in a meaningful way, for example: you’ve sold at a fast-growth startup, or you’ve worked in a truly elite SaaS / AI-first scaleup environment (high bar, high velocity, modern GTM). You know what good looks like and you’re not learning “commercial” from a textbook.
- World-class GTM systems builder. You love turning chaos into process: you build ridiculously good Clay tables and enrichment flows, you use AI properly, you spin up lightweight tooling, automations, and workflows - vibe coding doesn’t scare you, you care about instrumentation and feedback loops so the team learns faster every week.
- Zero-to-one operator. You’ve built from scratch before — ideally as a founder or early operator. You’re happy to start manual, learn fast, and then systemise what works.
- High agency, high autonomy. This role comes with a lot of freedom and a lot of responsibility. We won’t hand you a daily task list — you’ll set direction, run the experiments, and keep us moving.
- Comp + culture aligned. You’re excited by a founding role where impact and equity matter, and you’re here to do career-defining work.
- London, in-person. You want to be in the office five days a week and build tightly with the team.
The profile. We’re open to exceptional people from a range of backgrounds, but you likely fit one of these archetypes:
- The Ex-Founder: You’ve built something before. You know how to sell a vision before the product is perfect, wear different hats, and go 0 → 1 with urgency.
- The Early GTM Builder: You were an early commercial hire at a rocketship. You’ve helped take something from $0 to $1M ARR (and you know what it actually took).
- The Ex-VC Operator: You’ve spent time in VC (investing or platform), but you’re not looking for “advising” work. You’ve driven commercial outcomes directly: getting in front of companies, building presence, running events, and winning deals.
Our team. Founded by two experienced serial founders Matt (CEO) - previous company grew to a $600m valuation in 3 years before exiting to Deel. Saaras (CTO) went 0→ $3m ARR in a year as founder/CTO YC AI sales startup Kular.ai. We’re a 15-person, founder-heavy team (10 ex-founders).
And there’s also the perks…. We’re building a high-performance environment. You’ll work hard, and we want to clear your plate to make sure that you have everything you need to be able to perform at your very best!
- Total Compensation for this role of £180k+ (we let you choose your cash : equity split)
- Private health insurance with Bupa
- Uber home if you’re working late
- Deliveroo dinners in the office
- Fortnightly home clean
- Brand new MacBook
