Job Description: Lead a 30-person distributed engineering team for a fast-growing consumer marketplace platform. Drive a critical shift from process-oriented reliability to hands-on, fast-paced implementation and iteration. You\’ll shape the technology vision, leverage AI for product innovation and engineering efficiency, and empower teams to ship faster, think bigger, and utilise AI to its fullest potential, fuelling international expansion.

The ideal candidate:

• Possesses engineering leadership experience from a scaled marketplace business, with a proven track record of scaling distributed teams (20–50+).
• Has successfully shipped complex, high-performance systems, balancing speed, reliability, and safety.
• Demonstrates deep understanding of modern product development and success embedding AI tools to drive measurable efficiency gains.
