We are seeking a passionate, experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our high quality, family oriented small nursery. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to inspire a team, nurture children's development, and ensure the highest standards of care and education.
As a Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children. You will lead and support staff, maintain compliance with Scottish regulations, and build strong relationships with families and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage and support the nursery team
- Ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate standard and relevant legislation
- Deliver high-standard early learning and childcare in line with Curriculum for Excellence
- Oversee safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing of children
- Maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers
- Minimum SVQ level 4 in social services (Children and Young People) or equivalent, BA in childhood practice or working toward
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
- Proven experience in a senior or management role within an early years setting
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent knowledge of GIRFEC and child protection procedures
- Passion for delivering outstanding childcare
