About the role We\'re looking for an experienced, confident and caring Nursery Manager to lead a friendly team in a well-established, beautiful term-time setting (44 weeks a year). You\'ll take ownership of day-to-day operations, champion high-quality practice and build strong relationships with children, families and the team.
Key responsibilities Lead the nursery\'s daily operations to deliver a safe, nurturing, high-quality environment.
Drive standards in teaching, planning and assessment in line with the EYFS.
Ensure robust safeguarding and health & safety compliance at all times.
Coach, support and performance-manage your team; oversee rotas, supervision and CPD.
Build positive partnerships with parents and the wider community.
Maintain Ofsted readiness and contribute to continuous improvement and strategy.
Manage occupancy, budgeting basics and reporting.
About you Natural leader with 2+ years\' management/senior experience in early years.
Strong EYFS knowledge; confident preparing for inspections.
Organised, proactive and an excellent communicator who lifts team culture.
Passionate about child development, wellbeing and inclusive practice.
Qualifications & experience Level 3 in Early Years (minimum).
3+ years\' experience in a nursery/childcare setting.
Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain) and solid safeguarding knowledge.
