What you’ll be doing
- Proactively follow up on new enquiries, showing the persistence needed to nurture warm leads into quotes. Maintaining consistent, effective outreach to clients who do not initially respond.
- Manage a high-contact sales pipeline, consistently meeting commercial and conversion targets while maintaining exceptional customer care.
- Speak directly with our clients through frequent phone and video calls to gain a comprehensive understanding of them and their travelling companions, including their travel needs, interests, and passions.
- Guide clients to the best travel decisions, using your expertise to introduce premium options and unique experiences that elevate their trip.
- Leverage your deep, personal destination expertise from day one to inspire clients, handle regional questions confidently, and bring their dream itineraries to life.
- Curate bespoke itineraries across Asia Pacific that pair sustainable, unique hotels and experiences with responsible travel practices.
- Proactively maintain contact with past clients in between their trips to build deep rapport, nurture long-term loyalty, and drive repeat and referral business.
- Maintain exceptional data hygiene in our CRM (Hubspot). Handle administrative tasks quickly and accurately, including booking confirmations, invoicing, and keeping client records up to date.
- Partner with our post-sales teams to manage real-time feedback or micro‑complaints quickly pre‑, during, and post‑travel.
- Collaborate closely with your immediate regional team while actively cultivating connections across our wider global teams to share destination insights and support collective success.
- Happily lend a helping hand to support client care and your colleagues when regional team members are away.
- Travel on annual FAM trips within your region to keep your destination expertise unparalleled, and support our Positive Impact Collection by recommending unique properties.
What you’re like
- Ideally 2+ years in travel sales or a high‑contact, relationship‑driven sales role.
- A true regional expert, possessing extensive first‑hand travel knowledge and a genuine love for Asia Pacific.
- Confident using your personal destination insights descriptively and persuasively to capture a client’s imagination and close sales.
- A genuine people‑person who loves building deep rapport and moving clients from a transactional mindset to a trusted partnership.
- A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding commercial sales targets.
- Sales‑motivated and driven by uncapped commission structures and clear performance metrics.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a sharp eye for detail and data accuracy, understanding that your input impacts success.
- Highly organised with strong time‑management skills. Quick to pick up new systems and software, with the ability to confidently navigate a multi‑platform environment to manage your workflow efficiently.
- A creative problem‑solver who views complex logistical challenges or client adjustments as opportunities to design innovative solutions.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: £29,525 per annum.
- Guaranteed Earnings: A minimum guaranteed commission top‑up to ensure you earn at least £42,000 p.a. during your first 6 months of onboarding and training.
- Uncapped Commission: A lucrative, performance‑driven commission structure with typical travel designer overall earnings ranging from £60,000 to £100,000. Top performers can significantly exceed this range.
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 10am–6pm, based in our Old Street office with one late shift per week (typically 12‑8 but split shifts also possible). 3 or more days per week in‑office working.
- Private Medical Insurance: We offer all UK based employees private medical insurance through Bupa.
- Structured learning and development: You'll be set up to succeed with a 6‑month sales programme run by our dedicated L&D team, plus hands‑on upskilling and support from your manager and L&D throughout your time at Jacada.
