This is a hands-on, cross-functional role suited to someone organised, proactive and passionate about Positive Impact Tourism.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Ensuring Positive Impact tags and information are added to our booking platform, maintaining integrity across itineraries and internal systems.
  • Drafting and sending clear communications relating to Positive Impact initiatives, both internally and externally.
  • Supporting the tracking of timelines and project milestones across impact initiatives, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring follow-ups are actioned.
  • Assisting the Head of Positive Impact in gathering information for award applications, PR and media requests, and information needed to contribute to the annual impact report.
  • Collecting and organising additional impact data from preexisting Positive Impact Collection hotels, including land conserved, people supported, conservation partnerships and community initiatives, allowing us to better verify and highlight benefits and impact.
  • Supporting the Head of Positive Impact in data gathering for our annual carbon emissions measurement.
  • Coordinating impact updates from Jacada’s philanthropic partners such as Female Guides Project, gathering progress reports, imagery and key data points to support guest communications and marketing campaigns (including updates on the Jacada Impact Fund).
  • Gathering feedback from internal teams to identify gaps in understanding or implementation of Positive Impact projects and initiatives.
  • Monitoring our Positive Impact flag system to flag risks or inconsistencies, and ensuring follow-up actions are tracked to completion.
  • Working collaboratively across all internal departments to ensure Positive Impact is embedded within everyday decision-making and guest experience.

What You’re Like

  • Highly organised and confident managing multiple moving parts.
  • Comfortable following up with suppliers and external partners and able to hold (sometimes challenging) conversations clearly and professionally.
  • Detail-oriented, particularly when working with data, documentation and reporting.
  • A clear written communicator who can draft structured emails and partner updates.
  • Curious about sustainability and positive impact tourism, and motivated by making a tangible difference.
  • Confident working cross-functionally and building positive working relationships.
  • Proactive and solution-focused, with the ability to spot gaps and suggest improvements.
  • Calm under pressure and able to prioritise effectively.

Desirable

  • Experience within travel and tourism or hospitality.
  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks.
  • Experience working with international suppliers or DMC partners.
  • Confidence using project management systems (such as Notion).
