We are a leading international food company that has recently expanded into the UK market. Their mission is to bring high-quality consumer food products to retail, food service, and B2B sectors across the UK and Europe. They are now seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join their growing team in London.

Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with UK and EU food safety regulations, including FSA requirements and EU food law.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and standards (BRCGS, HACCP, FIC, Natasha’s Law).
- Oversee product labelling and packaging compliance for UK/EU markets.
- Manage allergen risk assessments and implement control measures across production and supply chain.
- Support internal, customer, and third-party audits (e.g., BRCGS).
- Prepare and maintain product specifications and assist with supplier approvals.
- Handle documentation and regulatory liaison during audits or product recalls.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in food safety or quality assurance within oriental food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of UK/EU food legislation, allergen and labelling regulations.
- Degree in Food Science or equivalent, with Level 3 HACCP certification.
- Experience with GFSI-recognised standards (e.g., BRCGS).
- Familiarity with customer portals for specification and artwork submission (Tesco, Sainsbury’s).
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid right to work in the UK.
- Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 (DOE)
- 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
