A global healthcare company is recruiting a National Account Manager to take full ownership of key UK national retail accounts, including major supermarket and pharmacy chains. The role will manage and develop accounts such as Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Tesco, and Boots, driving commercial performance, distribution growth, and longâterm partnerships at a national level. While strategically focused, the position also requires regular customer and store visits to support execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop national accounts across UK grocery and pharmacy retailers
- Lead nationalâlevel negotiations on pricing, promotions, and commercial terms
- Build and deliver joint business plans to drive sales and distribution growth
- Own P&L, forecasting, and budget management for assigned accounts
- Work crossâfunctionally to ensure effective delivery of agreed strategies
Experience & Skills
- Proven National Account Management experience within FMCG
- Direct experience managing major UK national retailers such as Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Tesco, or similar
- Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills, including P&L ownership
- Confident Excel user
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
