A Japanese global trading company is looking for an Accounting Manager to support their Asset Management Team.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Prepare management accounts, journal entries input, bank reconciliation and consolidation package.
- Liaise with external auditor and tax advisor to prepare statutory accounts and tax return.
- Oversee payments and invoicing procedure.
- Assist in internal control assessment and improvement.
- Prepare annual budget and update forecast on a regular basis.
- Analyse the variance between budget, actual result and forecast, monitor budget achievement progress.
- Support business team in asset management and project development.
- Prepare board meeting materials, documents filing and other corporate related administrative matters.
- Assist in general administrative duties for team members as appropriate.
Skills and Experience:
- Fluent English & Japanese
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified certificate
- Demonstrable knowledge of accounting treatments (UK GAAP and IFRS)
- Demonstrable experience of Statutory Account preparation, VAT return, and statutory reports such as SAP (S/4 HANA) experience - advantageous
- Strong Excel skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
- Experience and applied knowledge working with a wide range of accounting functions at management level
- Proven ability in Management & Financial Accounting
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet tight deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities
- Extensive experience in staff management

Location: London
Hours: 35 hours per week Mon – Fri: 09:00am - 05:00pm
