ITOC Support Engineer (Shift) | 24/7 Network & IoT Operations Support
We are seeking a dedicated ITOC Support Engineer to join a 24/7 operations team supporting network, mobile, and IoT services across Europe. This role is critical to ensuring service continuity, fault resolution, and operational excellence in a fast-paced technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as 1st and 2nd line support for network/mobile/IoT services
- Monitor alerts and respond to incidents via ticketing systems, email, and phone
- Coordinate with third-party vendors, mobile operators, and internal teams
- Support remote engineers with service tests (SMS, mobile data, eCalls)
- Assist in cybersecurity incident response (e.g., malware detection)
- Perform BAU tasks (e.g., tape changes, system admin, reporting)
- Create technical documentation and proposals
- Travel across Europe for troubleshooting, maintenance, or project work
- Communicate planned/emergency maintenance and change requests
- Work within a rotating shift schedule (day/night)
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in troubleshooting network/server issues across OSI layers
- Familiarity with IoT/mobile networking and infrastructure maintenance
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills
- Fluent English (verbal and written)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent are a plus
- Flexible and reliable with strong time management and multitasking skills
Working Conditions:
- Location: Docklands, London (Telehouse)
- Work Style: Shift-based (4 days on, 4 days off; 12-hour shifts including nights)
- Hours: 38.6 hours/week
- Start Date: December 1, 2025
- Salary: Up to £32,000 + £1,300 shift allowance
- Employment Type: Full-time (permanent or contract)
