The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
This position supports Senior RMs providing solutions to Asian Corporates active in the EMEA Division, supervising and training Junior RMs (AVP/Associate/Trainee level). Requirements include strong credit skills, good understanding of accounting, and the ability to conduct corporate credit analysis. The role is the first line of defence for credit risk management of a portfolio of corporate customers.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepares credit applications, financial projections, and sector analysis for submission to Credit Department, including detailed risk analysis and projections.
- Monitors assigned portfolio of corporate credit customers regularly and ad-hoc, taking timely actions on deterioration, including working on Special Credits.
- Prepares credit memos and updates for deteriorating accounts.
- Produces high-quality credit applications with financial analysis, industry & peer analysis to recommend obligor & facility grades.
- Coordinates timely submission of credit applications, presenting transactions with key terms, conditions, and client exposure strategies.
- Manages documentation process through loan closing, including negotiations with clients.
Who we are looking for:
- Sound credit and analytical skills, with formal bank credit training or equivalent.
- Degree or working toward relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CFA, MCT).
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Asian languages (Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese) is advantageous but not required.
- Understanding of standard credit documentation (LMA, ISDA, etc.).
- Based in London, with potential for business travel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
