We are a leading European importer and distributor of authentic Japanese food products, proudly serving both the restaurant and retail sectors. By working closely with a global network of suppliers, we ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet the evolving tastes and expectations of our customers. To support our continued growth, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with experience in purchasing or the food industry to join our team. Collaborate with Sales to plan orders based on forecasts and customer feedback * Monitor stock and sales levels to ensure timely and accurate ordering, especially for meat and vegetables * Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms * Research market trends and coordinate with Sales to launch new products * Build and manage supplier relationships to meet business targets * Work with the Technical team to ensure compliance with food safety and legal standards * Collect and maintain accurate product data in the ERP system * Resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and import arrangements * Regularly review assigned products to identify and address any concerns Bachelor’s degree preferred * Minimum two years of relevant work experience * Proficiency in Excel and general computer skills; SAP experience is a plus * Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese and Japanese are advantageous * Experience in purchasing or the food industry is desirable *We regret to inform applicants that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
