A global manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and motivated Area Sales Manager to drive further growth across the East Midlands and North East regions. As the company continues to expand its footprint in the UK, they are looking for a proactive sales professional with strong experience in the pumps industry who can help accelerate their success and build long-term customer relationships.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage and develop existing customers and distribution network within territory
- Seek new opportunities and customers
- Create end user enquiries to channel through dealer network
- Sell 1ph & 3ph pumps into hire / construction / infrastructure/ mining & quarrying markets
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience within the pumps industry, ideally selling into construction, mining, quarrying, or other sectors
- Experienced in Territory Management and maintaining / growing customer accounts
- Solid technical understanding of 3-phase pumps
- Knowledge of Markets related to dewatering and contractor pumps
- Full UK driving licence (company car provided)
- Willingness to attend trade shows, occasional overnight stays, and travel overseas for product training and H/Q visits
Location: Home-based role (candidates can reside anywhere within the East Midlands or North East)
