A Japanese food company in the UK is looking for a supply chain executive.

Type: Permanent, full-time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm

Start: 2nd of March 2026

Hybrid Working Style: Tuesday and Thursday at the office, the other days work from home

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end production operations to ensure smooth workflows, on-time delivery, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Plan, develop, and implement production schedules to meet manufacturing targets efficiently.
  • Conduct detailed demand forecasting and analysis to determine production volumes and material requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with outsourced manufacturing partners.
  • Ensure effective control and optimization of raw materials, components, and finished goods inventory.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve production and supply chain processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Build and promote a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on production performance, supply chain metrics, and demand forecasts.

Familiarity with Japanese culture is an added advantage.
