Job responsibilities:
- Omnichannel Project Steering: Drive the delivery of IT initiatives focused on establishing a highly optimized, SAP-centric architecture connecting E-Commerce, Marketplaces, Retail Store fulfilment, and backend inventory layers.
- Warehouse Migration Coordination: Serve as the central PMO lead for critical warehouse move projects, coordinating complex system handshakes, data migrations, physical-to-digital inventory reconciliations, and 3PL transitions.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Manage day-to-day coordination and alignment between internal IT infrastructure teams, supply chain/logistics units, regional stakeholders (including Netherlands and London offices), and global HQ.
- System Matrix Auditing: Lead structured technical and functional assessments of existing IT infrastructure, mapping current-state integration flows to identify optimization areas before system changes are introduced.
- Contract & Vendor Evaluation: Review and evaluate third-party software, agency, and systems integrator contracts to assess performance capabilities, commercial alignment, and compliance metrics against business requirements.
- Change Readiness Mapping: Translate systems analysis into actionable roadmaps, highlighting dependencies and technical risks associated with decommissioning or upgrading legacy components.
- Retail/SAP Test Strategy: Author and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) blueprints, ensuring realistic retail business scenarios (such as POS-to-ERP data loops, e-commerce ordering, and 3PL warehouse inventory shifts) are fully validated.
- Business Alignment: Partner closely with business key users to align them with test scripts, manage resource allocation for testing windows, and maintain testing momentum.
- Defect & Validation Governance: Establish systematic defect tracking, prioritization, and validation loops with internal developers and external vendors to hit target readiness metrics.
- Transition Runbook Ownership: Create, refine, and drive the detailed, hour-by-hour technical and business cutover runbook for system go-lives and warehouse switchovers.
- Go-Live Guardrails: Ensure clear accountability, ownership, and step-by-step sign-offs for all data migration, system isolation, and cutover tasks.
- Hypercare Coordination: Structure and lead post-go-live Hypercare support models, triaging incoming business exceptions and coordinating rapid-response technical fixes to minimize operational disruption during critical retail trading windows.
- RAID Log Mastery: Maintain absolute ownership over the program’s Risk, Action, Issue, and Dependency (RAID) logs, ensuring all points have clear owners and active resolution paths.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare structured, data-driven status reports and clear progress dashboards for IT leadership and steering committees.
Experience:
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in IT PMO, Project Management, or Program Delivery roles.
- Fashion & Retail Domain Expertise: Extensive, proven track record of managing projects within the Fashion, Apparel, Footwear, or Retail industries. Must understand the operational mechanics of multi-site retail, marketplace channels, and e-commerce.
- SAP Ecosystem Project Footprint: Hands-on experience steering projects tied to SAP architectures (such as S/4HANA Fashion/Retail modules, SAP CAR, or major template rollouts).
- Systems Analysis & Contract Experience: Proven capability in leading structured IT auditing, systems analysis, or vendor contract evaluations during major corporate system overhauls.
- Migration Experience: Direct experience managing high-risk operational transitions, such as warehouse moves, 3PL logistics migrations, or core fulfilment platform cutovers.
- SAP Framework Mastery: Functional understanding of the SAP project lifecycle, data migration milestones, and standard enterprise system dependencies.
