Key Responsibilities
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
- Prepare and review reconciliations between actual and forecast figures, identifying and explaining variances.
- Assist in the preparation of regular financial reports for internal stakeholders and overseas headquarters.
- Produce and maintain tracking reports related to revenue, costs, and overall performance.
- Work cross-functionally to collect, validate, and interpret financial and operational data.
- Maintain master data and support data uploads across financial and planning systems.
- Support cashflow reporting, including variance analysis versus budget and prior periods.
- Contribute to planning cycles such as budget submissions and periodic business reviews.
- Assist with process improvements and participate in ad-hoc finance and reporting projects.
What They’re Looking For
- 1–2 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience supporting reporting, reconciliations, or forecasting processes is preferred.
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to process and analyse financial data.
- Currently studying (or planning to study) towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- High attention to detail with a structured and organised working style.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Experience with financial systems is advantageous (e.g. SAP, Oracle Essbase).
