Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Allocation and Replenishment Specialist to join the team on a fixed-term basis to support a temporary peak workload period.
The role will support inventory flow management across brick-and-mortar stores and the e-commerce platform during a critical trading period.
Key Responsibilities
- Support allocation and replenishment planning activities based on store capacity, seasonality, weekly sales, and commercial trading periods.
- Support stock allocation activities across stores in line with range plans and business priorities.
- Maintain and update allocation parameters to reflect trading patterns and operational requirements.
- Assist with inventory optimization activities across stores and e-commerce channels.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders regarding stock flow, delivery schedules, and operational issues.
- Support allocation planning for new store openings or category launches occurring during the contract period.
- Assist with maintaining allocation and replenishment system accuracy and resolving stock discrepancies.
- Support delivery tracking and escalation of operational issues where required.
- Performance and Reporting
- Prepare store and inventory analysis to support weekly trading reviews and business decision-making.
- Support implementation of allocation plans based on trading priorities.
- Monitor stock performance and provide operational insights to management.
- Assist with analysis of slow-moving stock and support mitigation planning activities.
- Produce size and inventory analysis reports where required.
- Support feedback sharing with Buying and Merchandising teams to assist future planning activities.
- General
- Provide operational and analytical support as reasonably required during the fixed-term assignment.
- Profile Requirements
Experience
- Business or economics-related degree preferred.
- Retail experience within stores or retail head office environments preferred. Fashion retail experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office capability.
- Experience with allocation, replenishment, or inventory systems preferred.
