Position: Data Integration Engineer

Location: London

Contract: 6 Months Initially

Pay: £609 - £960 UMB/day

You need to be eligible to work in the UK as this role does not sponsor work visa.

Essential Qualifications

  • In‐depth understanding of data architecture and integration patterns.
  • Data modelling & transformation (conceptual/logical/physical).
  • Building data marts and downstream data products.
  • Proficiency with SQL and ETL / data integration tools (e.g. SSIS, IBM DataStage, Alteryx).
  • Solid hands‐on experience with SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Strong PL/SQL (Oracle) and T‐SQL (SQL Server).
  • Good understanding of data quality, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience with regulatory reporting in the banking sector.
  • Tool & platform management for data/ETL environments.
  • Experience with cloud storage solutions (e.g. object storage/file storage).

Desirable Qualifications

  • Exposure to Azure, Databricks.
  • Exposure to AQR Reporting for ECB.
  • Exposure to Middleware technologies (IIB, Kafka, Message Queue).
