Job Description
- Lead end‑to‑end new product development from initial concept through to market launch.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers, packaging design partners, and internal technical and purchasing teams to deliver projects smoothly.
- Manage packaging design for both new and existing products, ensuring brand consistency and quality standards.
- Identify market insights and opportunities, generate new product ideas, and turn them into viable launches through cross‑team collaboration.
- Communicate effectively with agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to keep projects on track.
- Handle administrative and organisational tasks such as product audits, websites, samples, and accurate filing.
- Support wider marketing activities as needed to meet team and business goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in brand management, project management, product management, or new product development, with food sector exposure preferred.
- Confidence managing end‑to‑end projects and coordinating with external suppliers.
- Strong interest in Japanese food, cooking, and product quality and authenticity.
- Comfortable working within Japanese corporate culture, with a respectful, detail‑focused, and collaborative approach.
- Independent, proactive, organised, and commercially aware.
- Positive, flexible, and able to work across internal teams, virtual colleagues, and external partners.
- Japanese language skills are a plus.
