Business / IT Consultant – Global Corporate Banking
Location: Central London (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite)
We are seeking bilingual consultants to partner with leading Japanese financial institutions and drive business and technology transformation initiatives in a global environment. This role offers opportunities to work across strategic, operational, and technology-focused projects within the banking sector.
Responsibilities
- Deliver consulting services across PMO, Business Analysis, and Product Management functions
- Lead IT transformation and Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) initiatives across:
- Lending
- Capital Markets
- Transaction Banking
- Trade Finance
- Settlement Operations
- Core Banking
- Build trusted relationships with clients and identify opportunities to create additional value
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
- Work autonomously while maintaining proactive and effective communication
Requirements
- 5+ years of consulting and/or project delivery experience
- Experience in IT transformation and/or operational transformation initiatives
- Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and related tools
- Good understanding of cloud technologies, AI, and cybersecurity trends
Preferred Qualifications
- End-to-end project lifecycle experience
- Experience in requirements gathering, UAT planning, and stakeholder management
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in corporate banking and/or capital markets projects
Certifications (Preferred)
- PMP
- PRINCE2
- Scrum Certifications (CSM, PSM, CSPO, PSPO)
- IT-related professional certifications
