Position: Data Integration Engineer
Location: London
Contract: 6 Months Initially
Pay: £609 - £960 UMB/day

Leading provider of IT services to one of the major Japanese banking groups in the EMEA region, supporting one of Japan's largest banks and a global financial powerhouse.
Essential Qualifications
- In‑depth understanding of data architecture and integration patterns.
- Data modelling & transformation (conceptual/logical/physical).
- Building data marts and downstream data products.
- Proficiency with SQL and ETL/data integration tools (e.g. SSIS, IBM DataStage, Alteryx).
- Solid hands‑on experience with SQL Server and Oracle.
- Strong PL/SQL (Oracle) and T‑SQL (SQL Server).
- Good understanding of data quality, security, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience with regulatory reporting in the banking sector.
- Tool & platform management for data/ETL environments.
- Experience with cloud storage solutions (e.g. object storage/file storage).
Desirable Qualifications
- Exposure to Azure, Databricks.
- Exposure to AQR Reporting for ECB.
- Exposure to Middleware technologies (IIB, Kafka, Message Queue).
