Position: Associate Attorney (Japanese Speaking)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible upon mutual agreement
Location: London (Hybrid Work Model – up to 2 days/week remote)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal consultation and client support
- Draft and review contracts and legal documents
- Prepare court filings and related documentation
- Assist with legal procedures including mediation, litigation, and negotiations; attend court as needed
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and legal opinions
- Participate in client meetings and provide regular updates
- Attend internal training sessions and study groups
Required Qualifications
- Qualified attorney in Japan or the United Kingdom (including recent bar exam passers or those who have completed legal training)
- Strong interest in legal practice and a willingness to learn
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and ability to work collaboratively
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email, etc.)
