Job Purpose Summary: Conduct activities to facilitate the transit of received product for the warehouse function, ensuring accurate records of product receipt, location and movement are created.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Take delivery of goods and supplies.
  • Visually inspect all deliveries for defects and ensure that all inspection findings are recorded, including photographic records.
  • Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck.
  • Ensure that any equipment used in the visual inspection are in full working order.
  • Check deliveries in accordance with the daily shipping schedule.
  • Liaise internally to resolve issues relating to product issues.
  • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality.
  • Ensure all product is appropriately located and stored and that electronic stock locations are accurately updated and maintained in Global Trader.
  • Assist with stock checks when required.
  • Conduct training activities within the Goods in function when needed.
  • Observe ESD precaution at all times when handling product.
  • Ensure your working area is tidy and practice good housekeeping.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team with others.
  • Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements to ensure your own safety and that of others.
  • Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner.
  • Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value.
