Job Purpose Summary: Conduct activities to facilitate the transit of received product for the warehouse function, ensuring accurate records of product receipt, location and movement are created.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Take delivery of goods and supplies.
- Visually inspect all deliveries for defects and record findings, including photographic records.
- Move stock around by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck.
- Ensure that any equipment used in the visual inspection is in full working order.
- Check deliveries in accordance with the daily shipping schedule.
- Liaise internally to resolve issues relating to product issues.
- Ensure all product is appropriately located and stored, and electronic stock locations are accurately updated and maintained in Global Trader.
- Assist with stock checks when required.
- Conduct training activities within the Goods‑in function when needed.
- Observe ESD precautions at all times when handling product.
- Ensure your working area is tidy and practice good housekeeping.
- Demonstrate the ability to work as a team with others.
- Operate in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements to ensure your own safety and that of others.
- Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner.
- Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value.
