Jaberu Recruitment are working with a leading contractor to source Electricians for a key workers accommodation project in Invergarry. The work being carried out is installation works for a large site setup with sleeper units and modular buildings. The work will involve installing SWA cables, glanding and terminating into MDU DB’s at source and commando sockets at the end.
Start Date - 27th July
Rotation: 11-days on: 3-off (10-hours Monday to Friday, 8-hours per day weekends)
Working hours: 37.5 hours standard (7.5 hours per day). Once 37.5 hours are completed, the daily overtime past 7.5 hours is paid at time x1.5. Saturdays are paid the first 6 hours at x1.5, double time thereafter. Sundays are paid at double time.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role with a solid understanding of electrical systems
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3) are highly desirable
- Valid UK driving licence is preferred due to remote site location
- Candidates will ideally come from an Industrial or Commercial background and be comfortable working mostly outdoors
- Candidates must have Safety Critical Medical for this project. If you do not have this, you will be reimbursed, providing receipts, with your first wage.
