Jaberu Recruitment are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various operational tasks on a housebuilding site, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining safety standards. Must hold full UK Drivers licence and be willing to travel due to the remote location of the site. It is not easily accessible by public transport. Duties * Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment * Preparing work areas and ensuring they are clean and safe for operations * Supporting the movement of goods, tools, and supplies around the site * Assisting skilled tradespeople with their tasks as required * Maintaining health and safety protocols at all times * Performing general labouring duties such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials * Ensuring all tools and equipment are stored correctly after use Skills * Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks * Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team * Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a workplace setting * Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality * Nice-to-have: previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or similar environments * Ability to operate basic tools or machinery is advantageous but not essential Must have * CSCS Card * Full UK Drivers Licence * Own transport In return, our client is able to offer a long term contract opportunity up to 12-months.
