Performance Intern – 3-month Internship

The opportunity: We’re looking for a curious, proactive and AI-savvy intern to join our Performance team for a 3-month summer internship. This role is designed for someone at the start of their career who wants to learn fast, experiment with AI tools, and apply them to real-world marketing challenges. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting global campaigns, while exploring how AI can improve how we work, think and deliver for clients.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the team across live projects, while actively exploring how AI can unlock smarter, faster and more effective ways of working:
  • Assist in building and deploying email campaigns
  • Support audience segmentation and targeting
  • Track and report on campaign performance
  • Contribute to campaign ideation and optimisation
  • AI & Innovation (Core Focus)
    • Use AI tools to improve workflows
    • Support the creation of AI-assisted campaign assets (copy, insights, reporting)
    • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks or enhance outputs
    • Test and share new AI tools, trends and use cases with the team
  • Insights & Reporting
    • Help generate reports and performance dashboards
    • Turn data into clear, actionable insights
    • Support creation of client-ready presentations and templates

    What we’re looking for:

    • Strong interest in marketing, sport, entertainment or fan engagement
    • Naturally curious about AI and how it can be applied in business
    • Comfortable using digital tools (Excel, Google Suite; AI tools a bonus)
    • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
    • Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset
    • Most importantly: someone who is proactive, adaptable and excited to experiment.
