We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Cloud Technology Engineer to join our Technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their technology career who wants exposure to a broad range of technologies including AWS cloud services, software applications, automation, cybersecurity, data management, OTT streaming platforms, and technical support.
Working closely with the Head of Technology Solutions & Security, you will support business-critical systems, cloud infrastructure, internal users, and customer-facing applications. Your Role Accountabilities...
- Provide technical support to internal users while supporting user lifecycle activities, account administration, and business applications.
- Support and monitor cloud-based applications and services, investigate technical issues, and assist with application updates and system changes.
- Provide first-line support for digital streaming platforms, investigate customer issues, monitor platform availability, and escalate customer-impacting incidents when required.
- Assist with routine data validation, data quality, imports, exports, and data-related investigations.
- Use simple scripts, database queries, and technical tools to investigate issues and help automate routine tasks.
- Follow established cybersecurity and content protection procedures while maintaining technical documentation and support materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and documentation and gradually take on greater responsibility as skills and experience develop.

Qualifications & Experience...
- Previous experience in a technical role with a strong emphasis on hands-on coding experience.
- Previous experience with React and/or Next.js, JavaScript or TypeScript, REST APIs, and modern web technologies.
- Familiarity with AWS services and source control tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, security best practices, and content protection concepts.
- Exposure to data migration or database projects and experience supporting SaaS, cloud, media, or streaming platforms.
Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
