JAB Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Consultant to support a leading organisation within the energy sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused procurement professional with strong UK contracting experience to take ownership of procurement activities, supplier relationships and contract management.
- Develop and implement procurement and sourcing strategies.
- Manage the full tendering process, including RFIs, bid evaluations, negotiations and contract awards.
- Establish and manage supplier agreements.
- Oversee contract performance, KPIs, variations and amendments.
- Manage commercial and contractual risks.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with procurement governance, regulatory requirements and SOX controls.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years' relevant procurement experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK contractual agreements.
- Experience managing sourcing, tendering and contract negotiations.
- Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience within offshore wind or the wider energy sector would be advantageous.
- Confident communicator with a proactive, collaborative approach.
