I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Instrument & Control Engineer to support a major offshore North Sea asset.
The role will provide Instrument & Controls technical support within a multi-disciplinary asset team, delivering engineering solutions and brownfield modifications while working closely with operations, EPC contractors and systems vendors.
Key experience we’re looking for:
- Broad Instrument & Systems Engineering experience
- Previous experience supporting an offshore operator
- Strong knowledge of IEC 61511 and BS EN 60079
- Instrument specifications, datasheets and design calculations
- Strong understanding of P&IDs, loop diagrams, pneumatic hook-ups and termination drawings
- Experience with Management of Change processes
- Strong project development and execution experience
- Experience managing engineering contractors and service providers
- Ability to review and approve engineering deliverables including calculations, datasheets, design assessments, vendor documentation and workpacks
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science
- Functional Safety Engineer Certification
- Broad Instrument and Systems Engineering background
- CompEx 12 Application Design Engineer Certification
